Online applications are invited on the prescribed format, from the eligible candidates for appointment to
the following posts on regular basis as mentioned each post.

Posts: 
1. Professional Assistant 
No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired
Level – 6,
Group - B 
Qualification: Essential: Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognised University / Institute with two
years’ experience in the relevant field in a university /research establishment/Central/State
Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library.
OR
i. Bachelor's degree in Library/ Library & Information Sciences from a recognised
University /Institute;
ii. Three years’ experience in the relevant field in a university/research establishment /Central
/State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library;
iii. Knowledge of Computer applications.
Desirable:
PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.

Age Limit: 35 years.

The candidate belonging to the reserved categories shall enclose self-attested copies of the caste
certificate and/or medical certificate (pertaining to the determination of degrees of disability in case
of PwD candidates) from the competent authority in the format prescribed by the Government of
India (subject to verification at a later date), failing which the application shall be rejected.

The candidate shall bring all original certificates relating to the age, qualifications, experience at the
time of tests or interview, wherever applicable. 

No fee for PwD candidates.

sent only to the email address provided by the applicant in the application form. The candidates are
