• Run a School for the Blind at Aluva, Kerala. • ORBIK (Organisation for Rehabilitation of the Blind in Kerala) – In ORBIK the visually challenged Ladies are trained and taught so that they can lead a normal life and supplement their family income. At present 20 visually challenged Ladies are undergoing training in Crafts like Candle making, caning of chairs, Tailoring, Printing and Paper Craft. • Boarding, Clothing and Medical Care are absolutely free.

The Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and Deaf-Blind
The Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and Deaf-Blind, in Mumbai was established in 1977 as the first organisation in India to develop education programmes for deaf-blind children. It focuses on the desire to save deaf-blind children from misconceptions of being labelled as "mentally retarded" and to get them their due attention in society. The institute has a special residential school for deaf-blind children, with students from different parts of the country. The organization offers Free/subsidised education, transport, nutrition, hearing aids, medical facilities, uniform.

It caters to the needs of non institutionalised blind persons. It provides the following services: Educational Assistance: The Association gives financial assistance to the blind college going students as well as able bodied children of blind parents who do not have substantial income. Free distribution of Educational Material: Under this project the school going sighted children upto 4th std of blind parents from lower income group are provided with educational material e.g. school bags, note books, pencils, lunch boxes, water bags etc.
