Visually impaired children contribute savings to relief fund

Children of the National Association for the Blind (NAB) at Gaulapar in Haldwani have contributed their personal savings amounting to Rs 11,000 to the CM relief fund. The amount comprising savings made by the children from their pocket money was handed over to the BJP state president Bansidhar Bhagat.

For over 10 days now, with no work, the daily source of income has stopped, they said

Dharman, who lives near Samiyar railway gate in Maraimalai Nagar, is unsure of when he will go back to his daily job. Before the lockdown, Dharman and several other residents of the area who are visually impaired, used to sell snacks on the trains that run from Beach to Chengalpet.
