Discovering Hands is a project from Germany and an initiative of Dr. Frank Hoffman, a senior Gynaecologist in Germany. They have been training blind women for last 10 years to detect the early signs of breast cancer. The visually impaired women with their highly sensitized touch and tactile sense are trained to detect the smallest lumps of breast cancer thereby preventing it at early stages by doing physical examination of breasts. Therefore they are designated as Medical Tactile Examiners (MTEs).

Announcing Short term Certificate Computer Courses for the visually impaired

Starting 25 May 2020 NAB Delhi will be conducting 3 courses online for
visually impaired persons.

Duration 2 weeks, 1 to 2 hour duration online class every day.

Language: Hindi only. Those who are not comfortable in speaking Hindi
should not apply.

Blind people’s association is pleased to announce the first online computer quiz  for V.I .computer users who have recently started using computer. This quiz is also going to be applicable and helpful to those who possess
reasonably good command in computer.

Please note that those candidates who have desktop or laptop will be able to appear in this test from their own house.

Assertiveness means conveying a strong message in a  polite yet in a firm manner. being assertive enables us to stand up for our rights or stand up against something wrong in a calm and positive manner without being ither aggressive or passively accepting wrong.
