Titled Kalam – Naam Ariya Pakkangal is a set of essays about Kalam written by people who knew him well, and by those who had interacted with him.

The Social Welfare Department has proposed to introduce an alert system in Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses to make travel easy for visually impaired persons. Smart Canes Distributed Among the Blind
KOCHI: The Ernakulam district panchayat on Tuesday distributed electronic smart canes to around 150 visually impaired persons, making it possible for them to move around.
District panchayat president Eldhose Kunnappilly inaugurated the project, which was initiated spending Rs 4.5 lakh from the Plan fund, at a function held at the District Panchayat Hall.
