See from the heart’ a blindfold run was held Sunday across 35 locations in 16 cities including Pune. The run was held to support the upcoming run to be undertaken by six visually impaired runners along with their six guides from January 23 to January 25 from Mysuru to Bengaluru.
The Cafe Tour Guide is a visually impaired person (legally blind) and works in total darkness at the cafe in the dark located at the end of the exhibition path. The work specifically entails welcoming the visitor, taking orders, processing payments, serving beverages and snacks and talking with the visitors. Ideally, every Dialogue in the Dark Guide should be able to work either on a tour or in the dark cafe.

UG: Any Graduate
The Guide Coordinator is a visually impaired person (legally blind) and liaises competently between guides and Dialogue in the Dark managers. The work entails information flow, quality control of guiding, training for new guides.
