The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important notice for candidates with disabilities appearing for CTET 2026. The board has clarified the rules for availing the facility of a scribe and compensatory time for availing the facility of a scribe and compensatory time  during the examination. Only eligible candidates under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016 will be allowed these facilities.

handigarh: Punjab govt on Thursday approved a proposal to  waive training fees for orphans and visually impaired  students enrolled in the computer operator and programming  assistant (COPA-VI) trade across govt-run industrial  training institutes (ITIs).
Confirming the decision after clearing the official file,  Punjab finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema said the move  reflected CM Bhagwant Mann govt's commitment to ensuring  that financial constraints do not become a barrier to the  professional growth of vulnerable students.

Pune: A tactile mathematics laboratory was inaugurated at  the NFBM Jagruti School for Blind Girls in Alandi, with  support from the MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi, through  CSR assistance under the Arise Plus programme of the Tech  Mahindra Foundation. The laboratory aims to help  visually impaired students understand mathematical concepts   through touch-based experiential learning.

New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) The Delhi government will allot souvenir shops at Dilli Haat to persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) as part of its effort to promote inclusive livelihood opportunities.
According to a notification issued by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), e-tenders have been invited from eligible persons with benchmark disability for allotment of souvenir shop at Dilli Haat, INA.
