Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy For The Blind (SRMAB) was founded in 1969. It offers both direct and indirect services through its Urban, Rural and Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Centres. • The Academy offers courses to CBR professionals from all over India and overseas at its training centre – Thirumurthy Rural Development Centre (TRDC). The course includes extensive fieldwork in the villages, working in real situations and putting theory training quickly into practice to consolidate learning.
