Providing audio books for the blind

A visually impaired English teacher has embarked on a project of converting books into audio files for benefit of the blind. Sandeep Trivedi, no stranger to the challenges faced by the blind, said he started the project in 2010 and has converted several books for college and university students, and for candidates appearing in competitive exams.

HYDERABAD: How does it feel not to have a vision? What does one go through when one can see, but finds it tough to type something on the  cramped smartphone keypad? Microsoft India hosted Confluence, a annual diversity and inclusion conference in Hyderabad on Friday. It had a host of events and sessions to help its employees understand shortcomings of people, be sensitive towards them and be more perceptive towards all.
