The 20th batch of Advanced Computer Training Center (ACTC) for visually impaired is scheduled in the 2nd week of Aug 2018 at Mitra Jyothi,Bangalore.
The tentative date for the commencement is 6th of August 2018.

For Visually Impaired youth (both male and female)
Residential Programme
Starting from July 2018
Skills: Stationary Making/Paper Craft, Candle Making, Sewing, Basic Relaxation Massage, Chair Caning, Packaging
Supplementary Training: Orientation & Mobility, Braille, Computer Basics, Basic Communication English, Cottage/Home Products (Soap, Chocolate making)
TRAINING PROGRAMME AT TATA AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL TRAINING CENTER FOR THE BLIND
FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED MEN.
TRAINING:- Technical and practical knowledge about agricultural and village industry and much more.
DURATION:- Minimum 3 years.
AGE:- between 18 to 35 years
EDUCATION:- nothing specific
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:- the willingness to run a farmer through cultivation and village industry.
Training programme at NAB India , centre for Blind women and disability studies
Training: course in Customer Care
Maximum training duration-3 months
Education-12th passed
Age-18 years & above
Basic knowledge of English is essential
Open for both blind boys and girls
Residential facility available-only for girls

The Asian Blind Union (ABU) is a Regional union of World Blind Union and it organizes every year essay competitions for blind candidates in the region through its affiliates in the country. This year, this ONKYO essay Competition 2018 is being organised by National Association for the Blind in India on behalf of ABU. Who should join this course?
· Candidates who have completed their graduation and are seeking skill development to get into good jobs.
NAB will be conducting two courses of three weeks duration to help school going blind students use computers for their reading and writing needs.
Batch 1: 21 May 2018 to 8 June 2018. Classes will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM
Batch 2: 21 May 2018 to 8 June 2018. Classes will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM

• Blind and low vision school going students who are not using the computer for reading and writing
• Blind and low vision school going students who need to improve their computer skills
