Visually impaired students of the Institute for Blind in Sector 26 continued the streak of passing with flying colors. All the 12 students of the institute who had appeared in Class X exams passed with good grades. The institute’s topper scored CGPA 9.8.
Proving the mettle, Ritik Goyal topped among the students who appeared for Class X exams.

An afternoon at the Blind People Association in the sweltering heat of Ahmedabad four years ago changed Gunjan Gupta's life – and may potentially change the life of 12 million visually impaired people in India.
Gupta, then barely 20 years old, was on a fact-finding mission for his final year engineering project on devices for people with visual disability.

All India Confederation of the Blind has been imparting quality education to over 125 Visually Impaired children from nursery to class 8. This year they have started support programme for class 9 students who have got admission in mainstream government schools. They are provided hostel as well as special assistance after school hours.
They are conducting interviews on 24th June starting 10am for selection of a few teachers for the special school located in Gurugram.

Students at SAI International School in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa were troubled that their visually impaired friends only had access to two-dimensional mediums – Braille story books or magazines – to experience stories. They were friends with visually impaired students from the Orissa Association for the Blind (OAB) – home to over 700 visually impaired students, staff, and teachers – for many years, on occasion providing them with Braille Slates and walking canes.
