MINATI BEHERA NEW PWDS CHIEF
The State Government on Monday appointed social activist Dr Minati Behera as the new State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved Behera’s name from among three names recommended by the Search Committee formed by the Government for the post. The post had been lying vacant for some days after the retirement of Kasturi Mohapatra.
