The ‘smart white cane’, as it is called, incorporates a small electronic device mounted on the cane. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan blessed 51 newly wed disabled couples at a function for mass marriage of disabled persons at Hoshangabad on Wednesday. He announced that assistance under CM’s disabled persons’ marriage scheme will be increased from `25,000 to `50,000. He said that the increased amount will also be given to couples who tied nuptial knots at today’s function.
