2 visually challenged girls set to rock airwaves as RJs
Pune: Breaking stereotypes, two visually-challenged youngsters from Pune have achieved their dream of becoming radio jockeys (RJs).
Divya Thorat (19) and Priyanka and Priyanka Gaikwad (24), students of NFBM Jagriti School For Blind Girls, Alandi, were the only ones to be selected from the state by Radio Udaan, an inclusive online radio station for people with disabilities, through a voice test in February.
