Blind People's Association (BPA)

Blind Books

A project has been carried out in Maharashtra of donating 12000 Braille books to 50 schools scattered all over the State by the Society in general. These are actually 110 books with 110 copies each. The difference about these books is, all the books are done by volunteers who do not know Braille. These people have worked from their Home, on their own Computers, in their free time, without expecting any returns in any form what so ever.

Bihar Blind Peoples' Care Society

Bihar Blind People's Care Society primarily works for the welfare of the visually impaired. It also works for people with Autism, Cerebral palsy and mental retardation. The organizations works towards: • Educating disabled children of all categories and integrating them into normal schools after 5th class. • Bringing into mainstream the children with multiple disabilities. • Restoring vision of people with curable blindness. • Providing vocational training to talented visually impaired children.
