The first National Paralympic Triathlon was held at Calcutta Sports Association yesterday, from 11 AM onwards. The event consisted of 750 m swimming, 20 Km cycling and 5 km running. Participants from 8 States (Karnataka, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Tripura) could qualify to this National Championship.
