Science experiments for visually challenged students

Student Service for the Blind is organising a one-day workshop on experimental science for visually impaired people. Experts from the University of Tsukuba, Japan will demonstrate state-of-the-art tools and techniques used in physics and chemistry experiments for visually challenged students.

Special educators, resource teachers and B.Ed. trainees are invited to participate in this workshop.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED

The National Association for the Blind, Karnataka Branch, Bangalore, is conducting a twelve-month industrial training programme for the visually challenged and hearing impaired boys and girls at NAB Industrial Training Centre for the Blind, Sheds C-177178, Yadavagiri Industrial area, Mysore.

Training will be given in light engineering, screen printing, coil winding, plastic injection moulding, recaning, electrical and coir rope and mat making.
