Course in social etiquette

Mitra Jyothi is organising a two-day course in social etiquette during the second week of September in Bangalore. Below are further details:

Venue: Mitra Jyothi campus, HSR layout.
Tentative dates: 12 and 13 September (Saturday and Sunday).
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Topics to be covered include:
1. Table manners, including handling  cutlery and setting a table.
2. Social skils.
3. Using body language and gestures.
4. Kitchen basics, including grocery identification, lighting a gas burner and other basic tasks.

Techshare India 2010

Techshare is an international conference on accessibility and is being organized for almost a decade now by The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) UK. Techshare India 2008 was organized for the 1st time in India in February 2008 at New Delhi.

Sarthak Medical Transcription Training for Visually Impaired

Sarthak Educational Trust in collaboration with EnAble India is launching medical transcription training programme for visually impaired persons. As you are aware, EnAble India has been conducting Medical Transcription Training for the visually impaired.

Similar programme is being run by EnAble India at Bangalore since 2008. As of now 20 visually impaired persons have been trained and most are already employed. The programme would be run with technical support from EnAble India.
