Something the outgoing President had ridiculed in myriad ways, throughout his four years of governance (read disruption).

15th Blind Challenge Car Rally 2021 organised in Bhopal

Arushi and Dilip Buildcon Limited organized ‘The 15th Blind Challenge Car Rally 2021’ on Sunday. PK Mishra was present as the Chief Guest and flagged off the first vehicle and started the rally from DB city Mall, Bhopal.

Supriya Jatav Gold Medalist, Common Wealth Games and Winner of US Open Karate Championship, Atul Kataria, Rohit Trivedi, Ashutosh Roy were also present as special guest. The first car was driven by Aruneshwar Singh Deo with Navigator Nisha Ojha.

24-year-old Abhishek lives in Ramanagara district in Karnataka. He lost his eye sight when he was thirteen. His father, a daily wage labourer tried everything in his might but the sight loss was irreversible. The boy was forced to drop out of school and remain confined in his home.

Showing the path to self-reliance

Loshya Dicoth, a resident of Kadukutty village in Thrissur district of Kerala, is a person with low vision. For 35 years, she struggled with all aspects of daily living. Somehow she managed to complete her education and get a specialized training in accounting, with the hope of getting a job. But deteriorating vision didn’t help much with her independent dreams. She was married off to a person employed as a driver in a gas agency, and they have a daughter studying in Class V.
