While these are designed to prevent the spread of the virus, people with disabilities may have difficulty observing these rules in public places.
They may not be able to see the impact of partial curfew being implemented in view of COVID-19, but could definitely feel it.
Philanthropists’ “generous donations” to the visually impaired artists has come down. They sing songs at roadside shows in the city to eke out a living. Nowadays they find it difficult to make both ends meet, as people, of late, hardly stop at the roadside events.

Disabled rights activist Abha Khetarpal said . she was infected with Covid-19 when she went to get vaccinated. “The centre was very crowded. Because of it, my mother also got Covid and she couldn’t take her second dose,” said Khetrapal.

Pranav taught himself to write code when he was in Class 9.
