In a bid to spread awareness about eye donation, around 500 denizens participated in a 2km 'blind walk' in the city on Sunday.

Titled 'Sight-A-Thon 2017', Hyderabadis from all walks of life took part in the walk along with many celebrities from Tollywood who added star-power to the do.

Flagged off by actor Ali and singer Ghazal Srinivas from People's Plaza, the participants walked up to the Indira Gandhi circle carrying placards and banners to spread awareness about various eye-related diseases and sensitised the general public about eye donation on the way.
Actor Raghu Karamanchi and GHMC Zonal commissioner (West) Harichandana Dasari were also present among other dignitaries at the do.
