ACT APPRENTICE TRAINING NOTIF'ICATION-20l8

Applications in the prescribed proforma are invited from the candidates fulfilling the prescribed conditions for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 196I and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962, in the following units of South Central Railway.

The details of Trade wise number of candidates to be engaged for training as Act Apprentices with break-up of reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates are furnished here under:

There will be a reservation to the extent of 3% each for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

Qualifications:

10th/SSC with 50% (aggregate) marks plus ITI in equivalent trades. 

No fee is required to be paid by sc/st/PwD/Women candidates.

Age Limit: 15-24 years.

Mode of Selection:- Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 196l will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both mairiculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Whenever required, the candidates should personally bring their certificates i.e. educational/Technical, Date of birth and Community etc. in original for document vertification.

Trainine & stipend:-Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant instructions.

Original certificates or Testimonials should not be sent along with the application but should be produced at the time of vertification of certificates.

Mode of Application: Candidates should submit their applications through any of the following sources duly ensuring that the space provided for in the applcation is used by the forwarding authority for the purpose: (i) Nearest Employment Exchanges.
(ii) SC/ST/OBC organizations.
(iii) ITIs wherever existing.
(iv) Wards of Railway Employees through their controlling Officers.

Eligible applicants should submit their applications in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-'A') through any one of the above sources. Applications received other than the above sources will not be entertained.

The application form should be filled up in ENGLISH or in HINDI only in his/her own hand writing.

A colour pass port size recent photograph should be affixed on the application duly signed by the applicant.

The following self-attested photo copies of the certificates are to be enclosed with the application:
1. 10th/SSC Certificate in proof of date of birth

2. ITI certificate with consolidated marks sheet of all the years. 
3. Copy of the latest CASTE CERTIFICATE in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates issued by the District Magistrate/Mandal Revenue Officer in the prescribed proforma. (for SC/ST candidates - Annexure 'B' and OBC candidates Annexure-C) 
4. Physically handicapped certificate duly issued by the competent Medical Board as per rules in case of PWD candidates (Annexure_D).
5. Two identical passport size colour photographs firmly stitched in separate cover to the application (apart from one copy pasted on the application form).

The applicant should submit only one application.

Applications duly filled-in all respects with the enclosures and the forwarding from any one of the four sources mentioned in Para l2(g) atthe bottom of the application, should
reach the office of The Deputy Chief Personnel Officer/A& R/SCR, RRC, 1st Floor, C-Block, Rail Nilayam Secunderabad- 500 025, on or before the due date i.e. 17.07.2018.
