Educational qualification/ Technical Qualification:
Must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks. 

Must have passed I,T.I Course in relevant trade from a Recognized Institution. 
The candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of Notification. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and candidates whose  result of qualifying examination awaited are not eligible 

Age: 15-24 years

Age relaxation: 10 years

The period of Apprentice training & Stipend: Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period 1 Year for each trade. They will be paid stipend during their training as per the rules of Railway Board. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their
apprenticeship. 

 Contract: 

The selected candidates or, if he is minor, his guardian has be enter into a contract of apprenticeship with the employer Offer of acceptance of engagement: t is not obligatory on the part of employer to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of training, nor shall it be obligatory  for the apprentices to accept any employment, if offered by the employer. The candidates are advised to get themselves familiarized with the rules and regulations under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

No Travelling Allowance/ Daily allowance shall be paid to the candidates.

The candidates will have to upload soft/scanned copy of present passport size color photograph and scanned signature along with necessary documents pertaining to education/ technical qualification on the website.

Persons with disability (PWwBD) who want to avail the benefit for reservation must produce a disability certificate issued by a competent authority with not less than 40% of disability i.e. Medical Board duly constituted by the Central or State government.
