Asian Blind Cricket Meet

The Association for Cricket for the Blind in India will be hosting a two day meeting  of representatives from Asian countries on the 19th and 20th of July, 2008 at Bangalore. The meeting is being called to discuss strategies, plans, and programmes to promote blind cricket in the Asia Region. Presently, the game is played in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. It is hoped that countries like China, Malaysia, Maldives, Tibet, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan will also take part. Countries interested in the meeting can contact the organisers at george@eyeway.org The two day meeting will discuss strategies for promoting the sport in the continent and also explore  the possibilities of setting up an Asian Blind Cricket Council.
