Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors in the following Departments:

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs. 6000/-

Educational qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or and equivalent degree from a foreign University.

 

Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC (SLET/SET).

Desirable Qualification: Master's in Hindi

 

The candidates may specifically mention in their application the category to which they belong i.e. UR/SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with disabilities categories should submit attested copy of certificate issued by competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by government of India.

 

No T.A. or D.A. will be paid for appearing in the written test and interview.

The PwD candidates with less than 40% of relevant disability shall not be considered for the post reserved for PwD. The disability certificate should be issued by the competent Authority duly authorized by the Central or the State Government. The candidates are required to submit the Disability Certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No.
