Essential Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor: -Good academic record with atleast 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree from foreign University.

 

Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test(NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.

 

Essential Qualification required for the Department of Elementary Education

1. Psychology/Child Development - M.A. Psychology/Applied Psychology (with Specialisation in Child Development and Research Degree in Education.

M.A. Psychology/Applied Psychology (with Specialization in Clinical Psychology/Counselling) and P.G. Degree/Research in Education.

 

Mathematics cum Physical Science:  M.A./M.Sc Maths/ Physical Science and Post-graduate Professional degree in Education.

 

Linguistics/Language: M.A. Linguistics/M.A. English/Hindi with Diploma in Linguistics and Research in language Development in children/P.G. degree in Education Research in Education.

 

The candidates applying under PwD category may specifically mention in application their main category to which they belong i.e. UR/SC/ST/OBC for the purpose of computing the reservation.

 

The candidates applying under PwD category are required to submit the Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No. 36035/3/2004-Estt(Res) dated 29.12.2005. The format is available at the

Application form may be obtained from the office of the College from 10:00 

 

A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on or before the last date of submission either in person or by sending a self addressed and stamped envelope of A4 size.

Applications on the prescribed form must reach the Principal, Jesus & Mary College, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021 on or before 30th Sep, 2013 complete in all respects with self attested copies of certificate, marks sheets, testimonials etc., alongwith a demand draft of  Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST PwD) in favour of the Principal, Jesus & Mary College.
