The Central University of Punjab (CUP), Bathinda invites applications for eligible candidates for the regular posts of Professors (Pay Band Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10,000/-), Associate Professors (Pay Band Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9,000/-) and Assistant Professors (Pay Band Rs.15600-39100
with AGP of Rs. 6,000/-) as per following details:
Posts:
1. Assistant Professor
No. of posts: 03, out of which 01 for Visually Impaired
Department: Law
Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 6,000/-
2. Professor
No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired
Department: South & Central Asian Studies (Including Historical Studies)
Pay Band Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10,000/-
Qualifications: 1. The qualification required for teaching posts will be as per “UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2010 and subsequent amendments.
2. In addition to above, both Ph.D. and NET are mandatorily required, to be eligible for the regular posts of Assistant Professor.
The SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee.
Separate application should be filled online for each post applied for.
