Delhi Technological University is a non‐affiliating teaching-cum-research University engaged in
education, research, technology incubation, product innovation, and extension work in Applied Sciences,
Engineering, Technology, Management, Economics and allied areas, and is committed to fostering excellence.
The University invites applications from the talented individuals to fill up the posts of Assistant Professor in
the following disciplines by direct mode of recruitment:

Candidates are required to submit their application(s) through the University website:
https://www.dtu.ac.in. “The last date for submission of the online application shall be 07/12/2026 (till
05:00 PM). After the stipulated closing date and time no application shall be accepted/considered
irrespective of acceptance of fee by payment gateway.

The candidates must submit their application(s) through Online Mode only before the cutoff date and
time. No other mode of application shall be accepted. The candidates are also advised to retain a printout
of the online application form for further use. 

No fee for PwD candidate

No TA/DA in connection with the submission of application form or appearing for the Document
Verification, Presentation and Interview will be paid to the candidate.

The posts of PwBD category have been identified disciplines-wise, based on the suitability of the posts
for PwBD candidates. In case any such post remains unfilled due to the non-availability of a suitable
PwBD candidate, the post may be filled by the suitable candidate from other category and the vacancy of
PwBD category, if any, shall be carried forward appropriately to same or other discipline depending on
the vacancy position for inclusion in the subsequent advertisement as reservation of PwBD vacancy is not
earmarked discipline-wise. At any point of time, it is understood that the University shall ensure that the
number of unfilled posts of PwBD category will be kept vacant at University level (not at Department
level) in accordance with the applicable reservation provisions

Qualifications:  minimum of 55% marks in the relevant subject along with a Ph.D. or NET qualification.

Engineering disciplines (B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech with first class or equivalent in one of the two degrees, plus PhD and qualifying test as per RR) → Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and related field

Applied Sciences and others (Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent, NET/SET/SLET or PhD exemption as per RR, with 5% relaxation for specified categories in listed disciplines) → Assistant Professor in Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics & Computing, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Environmental Science & Engineering, Humanities (Economics), Humanities (English), Biotechnology, Geospatial Science, Geospatial Technology

Management and Design (as per specific RR for DSM, USME Economics, Design) → Assistant Professor in Management (DSM), Economics (USME), Design
