Qualifications: 
Good academic record with a Master's de,gree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concemed/ relevant/allied subject frotn an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) conduoted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or a similar test accredited by the IJGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Au,ard of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

SCRIBE / EXTRA TIME FOR PWBD CATI]GORY CANDIDATES:
i) An extra / compensatory time @ 20 minutes per hour will be allowed in each paper to the persons with Benct*nark Disabilities (Blind and Low vision or Locomotor Disability), only on production of a Medical
certificate issued by Medical Board constituted by the chief Medical Officer of concemed district, and after issuing permission by the Commission in this regard.
The PwBD (Blindness and Low vision) candidates who want only extra time (without the help of a scribe) will have to apply to the Commission for the permission for extra time well in time. PwBD candidates suffering from Locomotors Disabiiity who want extra/ compensatory time will have to apply to the Commission for permission. Such candidates will be allowed extra time @ 20 minutes per hour for Examination, on production of medical certificate issued by a Medical Board, clearly stating therein that the candidate's writing ability is severally affected due to her ftris disability.

The PwBD (Blindness and Low vision) candidates who want the help of a scribe to write her/trispaper will have to apply to the Commission 1br thc pcrmission of a scribc scparatcly wcll in tirne i,e. at lcast 03 working days prior to the commencement of the Examination. No online request for a scribe will be accepted by the Commission.

The candidate has to make her/his own arrangement of a scribe

The scribe should be a studying-student upto l0+2 and her/hisphoto & other particulars should be duly veri.lred by the Principal of the Institution in which the student is studyirLg.

It should be noted that no such permission in the above cases will be granted by the Centre Supervisor.
