National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), funded by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, has been set up to excel in teaching and research in different areas of basic sciences. NISER aims to provide an excellent academic ambience and support to faculty members to work in frontier areas of research in both theoretical and experimental fields of basic sciences. It also imparts high quality undergraduate and graduate education through a rigorous and well-planned course structure aimed at creating strong foundations in basic sciences among its students. Applications are invited from Indian nationals, Divyang/ Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (VH, OH, HH) under Special Recruitment Drive for the post of Assistant Professor / Reader-F / Associate Professor in different areas of following disciplines:
1. Biological Sciences 2. Chemical Sciences 3. Mathematical Sciences 4. Physical Sciences 5. Earth & Planetary Sciences 6. Computer Sciences 7. Humanities & Social Science (Economics, English, Sociology, Psychology)

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience: A PhD degree in relevant discipline from a reputed and recognized university or institute and at least three years of postdoctoral research/teaching experience after PhD with high quality publications in high impact journals for the post of Assistant Professor. A minimum of five and eight years of postdoctoral experience are required for positions of Reader-F and Associate Professor respectively. Candidates should have interest and ability to teach courses in Integrated MSc programme and PhD programme.
