The Xavier’s Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC),b St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai is happy to announce that it will be conducting a training programme in Basic Computers & Access Technologies for visually challenged persons. The course will include training and practice sessions in accessible software including screen readers, screen magnifiers, OCR technology etc.

Specific customizable needs will also be looked into.

The course details are as follows:
Duration: 2 months: April 16 – June 16
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Limited seats are available; candidates will go through a selection process. A deposit of Rs. 500/- will be returned after successful completion of the course along with a Completion Certificate.
