On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar inaugurated a Braille facility in the Parliament Museum here.
The facility will now enable visually-challenged visitors at the Museum to read about India’s democratic heritage. Some visually-challenged visitors also interacted with Ms. Kumar on the
occasion.
Earlier, on the eve of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Lok Sabha Speaker said: “I convey my best wishes to the people with disabilities across the country. Through their
assiduousness, they have achieved excellence in diverse fields and won accolades. ”
