RECRUITMENT OF CIVILIAN PERSONNEL IN INDIAN NAVY-2017

IN NAVAL ARMAMENT INSPECTION ORGANISATION

AT HEADQUARTERS WESTERN NAVAL COMMAND, MUMBAI

Indian Navy invites applications for the post of Chargeman (Mechanic) and Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) [Erstwhile Chargeman-II (Mechanic) and Chargeman-II  (Ammunition & Explosive)] now classified as Group ‘B’.

Post: Chargeman (Mechanic) 
No. of posts: 58, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or institution
OR
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Board. 

Age: Between 18 and 25 years. 
Age Relaxation: 10 years for PwD candidates.

Scribe- Visually Impaired (VH) candidates with visual disabilities of more than 40 percent and cerebral palsy
candidates can avail the assistance of a scribe in the written examination subject to such request of scribe being made in application form. The other facilities will also be extended, as per Dept. of Disability Affairs OM F.
No. 16- 110/2003-DD.III dated 26 Feb 2013.

Applicants need not send copy of Application form or any Document to this office. 

Duration of the Written test may be of one day. Candidates will have to make their own arrangement for lodging / boarding during the test. Candidates are advised not to bring any valuable/costly items to the recruitment test as safe keeping of the same cannot be assured. Indian Navy will not be responsible for any loss in this regard. 

It is likely that the date, time and venue of examination for different posts may coincide. In such situation, the individual has to opt for a particular exam as per his choice.
