Government of Haryana has setup a new Medical College at Karnal.  It is a Government College for girls. The College is in the process of filling up the following 307 para-medical job posts. 

Posts:

1. Clerk 
No. of posts: 19, out of which 02 for Persons with Disabilities
Visually Impaired can apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ 1900/-
(i) 10+2. 
(ii) Candidates will have to pass State Eligibility Test in Computer Application and Appreciation (SETC), which should be post requisite conditions of the qualifications and all the newly appointed shall have
to qualify the SETC in the Govt. Department/Organization. They will not be entitled for annual increment until they qualify the SETC test during the probation period, if they fail to do so the services can be
dispensed with. 

(iii) Syllabus for the SETC, would contain word processing, internet browsing and email management only. 

(iv) Type test of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi/Sanskrit. 
(v) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric. 

Desirable: 
Knowledge of basic computer applications, such as MS Word, MS Office, Excel, Internet etc. A proficiency test will be held to assess the same.
 

2. Steno-typist 
No. of posts: 4, out of which 01 for Persons with Disabilities
Visually Impaired can apply.
Pay Scale: 5200-20200+ 1900 +100SP 
Qualification: 
1900 +100SP 
i) Graduate from Recognized University with 80 w.p.m. speed in English shorthand and ability to transcribe it at the speed of 15 w.p.m., 8% mistakes are permissible
ii) Candidate will be required to qualify a speed test at 9000 key depressions in English or 7500 key depression in Hindi per hour. 

iii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standard. 

Note:-
The candidate shall have to qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation (SETC) within the probation of two years extendable by one year. The candidates appointed against the post of Steno-Typist in the Group-C shall not be entitled to earn any increment in his/her pay scale till he/she qualifies the said test failing which the services of such employees will be dispensed with.

3. Stenographer
No. of posts: 05, out of which 01 for Persons with Disabilities
Visually Impaired can apply
Pay Scale: 5200-20200+ 2400/-
Qualification: (i) Graduation in any displine from a Recognize University. 

(ii) Candidates will have to pass State Eligibility Test in Computer Application and Appreciation (SETC), which should be post requisite conditions of the qualifications and all the newly appointed shall have
to qualify the SETC in the Govt. Department/Organization. They will not be entitled for annual increment until they qualify the SETC test during the probation period, if they fail to do so the services shall 
be dispensed with. 

(iii) Syllabus for the SETC, would contain word processing, internet browing and email management only. 

(iv) English shorthand 100 wpm and transcription thereof 20 wpm and in Hindi 80 wpm and transcription thereof at 15 WPM mistake should not exceed 8%.
(v) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.

Knowledge of basic computer applications, such as MS Word, MS Office, Excel, Internet etc. A proficiency test will be held to assess the same.
