Jammu: The Mountaineering Association of J&K is going to organise the first-ever National Sport Climbing Championship for visually impaired climbers on March 27 and 28 at Sprawling Buds School, Bantalab. The association on Tuesday said the participation of visually challenged climbers was likely to touch the 300-mark as the response was very positive. It has decided to distribute prizes to the first eight positions instead of the usual first three positions in both the categories of boys and girls. Various organising committees were also formed for the smooth conduct of the championship which will be sponsored by the J&K State Sports Council.
