Jodhpur: Education Minister Madan Dilawar on Wednesday said that computer science will be introduced as a subject in all 4 state-run blind schools from the upcoming academic session. During a felicitation ceremony at the Govt Blind School in Jodhpur, Dilawar said that serving the visually impaired is akin to serving God. He said that, like the strength of women, visually impaired individuals are also key to nation building. He assured that arrangements for playgrounds for the children would be made soon.
Visually impaired teachers & students were thrilled to have a Minister among them. During the event, Dilawar also planted a tree, inaugurated a solar energy panel & spent some heartfelt moments playing carrom with students in the hostel premises. Panchayat Primary Education Officer from Banswara Nazbal H Pathan honored the Minister by gifting a picture of Mata Tripura Sundari.
