Jalandhar, January 12

DC Ghanshyam Thori directed the Health Department to organise special camps in the district to speed up the enrollment of specially-abled persons for the Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID).

He told the department officials to set up one camp in each community-primary health centre and create awareness among the public in advance through councillors /sarpanches/ Asha workers, so that the specially-abled persons can avail maximum benefit from schemes.
