Posts:

 

1. Deputy Manager

Grade-E-2

Discipline: Finance 

No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired 

Pay Band: Rs. 20600-46500/-

Qualification: Degree from a recognized University and pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India /Masters Degree in Business Administration from a recognized University with specialisation in  Finance.

 

Experience: Minimum seven years post qualification experience in the Finance department of a Shipyard/ Port/ Government / Attached / Subordinate Offices/ Autonomous Bodies/ Heavy Engineering company/ Commercial organization in the areas of Financial policies, Financial Appraisal, Fund management, Budgeting and Accounting, Taxation, Audit etc. 
 

Experience of working in a computerised environment/ ERP/ SAP is desirable. 

In the absence of sufficient candidates with seven years of post  qualification experience, candidates meeting all other eligibility requirements but having post qualification experience of minimum 4 years and above shall also be considered. 

 

Age: Not to exceed 35 years

 

2. Welder Cum Fitter 

Grade: W6 

No. of posts: 05 for Visually Impaired

Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in any one of the following trades or equivalent following trades or equivalent Servicemen. 

 

a) Fitter Structural/Pipe(Plumber)/Sheet Metal Worker/ Welder (Gas & Electrical) or 

b) Fitter or Mechanic (Motor Vehicle/Diesel /Tractor/ Earth Moving Machinery) 

 

Experience: Five years experience in the following areas in a shipbuilding/ Ship repair yard or Heavy Engineering Company. 

 

i) Gas cutting and welding (gas and electric, manual, automatic, MIG/ semi-automatic special welding),gouging, gas and electric brazing flame heating, chipping and grinding, staging and handling, etc. or 

 

 

ii) Structural work using machines like bending machine, shearing machine, hydraulic presses etc and /or in repair and maintenance of heavy duty cranes, hydraulic presses, compressors, pneumatic tools etc. 

 

or 

 

iii) Erection, repair and maintenance of pumps, generators, compressors, marine engines, thermal power station auxiliaries etc. or 

 

iv) Experience as Pipe Fitter including pipe shop experience such as cutting, bending, fabrication, welding, pressure testing, surface treatment etc. 

 

Age: Not to exceed 35 years

The degree of disability should be minimum of 40%. The candidate should possess valid Certificate of Disability to this effect issued by a notified Medical Authority/Medical Board. 

 

Applicants who fail to produce the original certificates and mark sheets will not be allowed to attend the Personal Interview/Practical test. 

 

Candidates should enclose self attested copies of certificates in proof of age, qualification, experience, disability and caste and their candidature will be considered on the strength of those certificates and information provided in the application. If at any stage, it is found that any information furnished is false / incorrect or the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, the candidature is liable to be cancelled / rejected.
