One of the objectives of the ELSA Alumni Association is to organize and/or promote activities with civic or charitable and such other similar objectives related to the empowerment and education of women, human resource development socio-cultural and economic issues that impact women and Alumni. It is with these objectives in mind that the 1st ELSA NGO Mela is being organisedat Chinmaya Mission on Saturday, 11th February 2017. 

Alumni of LSR (ELSAs as we are known) create a wave, a change wherever we go. Whether corporates or government, academics or entrepreneurs...and so many doing such great work in the social sector and working on issues like Health, Disability, AIDS, Education, Child Trafficking, Environment, Human Rights, Animal Welfare...you name it and they are there to help, support and nurture. 

There are many ELSAs who are doing stellar work for the community across the country. By holding an exhibition of the work done by the NGOs of our alumni we want to provide them with a forum for showcasing their work and for the rest of the community to know the amazing work being done by them.This is a celebration of their dedication and contribution to the betterment of our society. 

There is something for everyone and this is a wonderful opportunity for school and college students to pick an NGO of their choice for volunteering.
