Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under the Technical Cooperation of the Government of Japan has invited applications for the above programme to be held from August 2012 out of which the Core Phase will be held in Japan from 18 September to 1st November, 2012

Aim of the programme:

The programme aims that participants will understand how the sports for persons with a disability implicate the social participation of the persons with a disability, and learn the process how to pile up the specific countermeasures against the specific issues in their respective country.

Eligibility:

This programme is offered to those who are

1. Connected with a national or local sports organization for persons with a disability;

2. Responsible for the local administration of sports for persons with a disability;

3. Government officers in charge of sports for persons with a disability;

4. Highly experienced as an instructor of sports for persons with a disability;

5. Have participated in an international sports events for persons with a disability including Paralympic Games, as an athlete or an official of the national delegation

6. Having experience of more than five years of sports for disabled;

7. Not be serving in military;

8. Proficient in written and spoken English;

9.  Having good health to undergo the above training.
