Former Minister and Sircilla legislator T. Harish Rao felicitated visually-impaired student Lucky Mirani, a student of Paramita High School here, who scored 10 GPA in the SSC examinations held in March. He was presented with a cheque for over ₹1 lakh.

He is the only Indian to score 10 GPA in the SSC board examinations. On Monday, Mr. Harish Rao invited the student, his family members and teachers of the school to his residence in Hyderabad and felicitated him with a shawl and the cash prize. Lucky Mirani was also felicitated by Minister Eatala Rajender during the Independence Day celebrations in Karimnagar. His parents Deepak Mirani and Muskan Mirani, school principal N. Dharmender, coordinator A. Aruna and others were also present.
