Kolkata Port Trust intends to recruit the following personnel in Class-III and Class-IV category from Person With Disabilities (PWDs) for different Departments / Divisions under Kolkata Dock System of Kolkata Port Trust.

 

 

Posts: 

 

1. Hindi Assistant [Class –III] 

No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired

Pay Scale (Rs.): 19100 – 51100

Eligibility Criteria: i) Educational Qualification: - Degree from a recognized University with English and Hindi as subject combinations. 

ii) Experience - Two years in Hindi Translation work. 

Preference will be given to those who are proficient in computer works. 

 

2. Clerk (LD) [Class-III] 

No. of posts: 5, out of which 02 for Visually Impaired

Pay Scale (Rs.): 16300 - 38200 

Eligibility Criteria: i) Educational Qualification: -Matriculate or equivalent from recognized Board, preference will be given to the candidates possessing higher educational qualifications. 

ii) Knowledge in computer application is desirable

 

3. Typist (Basic Grade) (Class – III) 

No. of posts: 01 for Visually Impaired

Pay Scale: Rs. 16300 – 38200

Qualification: -Matriculate or equivalent from recognized Board, preference will be given to the candidates possessing higher educational qualifications. 

 

ii) Typing Speed – 40 Words Per Minute. 

iii) Knowledge in computer application is desirable.

 

 

4. Peon (Class – IV) 

No. of posts: 08, out of which 03 for Visually Impaired

Pay Scale: 13500 – 27400 

i) Educational Qualification: -Minimum Class – VIII passed 

Upper age limit: 30 years

Age relaxation: 10 years for PwD candidates.
