Detailed advertisement for combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination-2022 for Group-B State Cadre posts in different offices under Government of Odisha.

Posts:
1. Junior Engineer (Civil) under EIC (Public Health)
No. of posts: 04, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Age: 21-38 years

2. Junior Engineer (Civil) under Director of Municipal Administration, H&UD Department
No. of posts: 01 for Low Vision
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with adequate Computer Knowledge
Age: 21-38 years

3. Junior Engineer (Civil)under Water Resources Department
No. of posts: 23, out of which 02 for Low Vision
Qualification: The candidates must have possessed a Diploma in Civil Engineering conducted by Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training or an equivalent qualification for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) from any institution recognized by the Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCTE&VT)
Age: 21-38 years

4. Assistant Training Officer (ITI) under Directorof Technical Education & Training
No. of posts: 04, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th class or equivalent examination from a recogized Board.He/She must possess necessary Technical Qualification (ITI or Diploma/Degree) from recognized Institutions approved by NCVT/AICTE in relevant Branches/Trades.
Age: 18-38 years

5. Assistant Training Officer (Diploma/Degree) under Director of Technical Education & Training
No. of posts: 05, out of which 02 for Low Vision
Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th class or equivalent examination from a recogized Board.He/She must possess necessary Technical Qualification (ITI or Diploma/Degree) from recognized Institutions approved by NCVT/AICTE in relevant Branches/Trades.
Age: 18-38 years

Age relaxation: 10 years for PwD candidates.

Date of Birth entered in the High School Certificate Examination by the Board of Secondary education, Odisha or equivalent Certificate issued by the rcognised Board/Council/by an Idian University as equivalent there to shall be acceptable by the Commission.

There shall be two stages of examination

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main written examination
3. Certificate verification

Provision of assistance of Scribe

PwD candidates who have not less than 40% disability and have limitation in writing shall have the option to use his/her own scribe with due permission of the Commission. The intendig candidates have to given the option for scribe in the appropriate place while filling up online application form and aso to submit the required certificate prescribed by the Commission as per Advisory Notice no3453/OSSC dated 24.10.2019 available in the website of the commission www.ossc.gov.in.

PwD candidates must ensure that they possess permanent disability certificate of the following categories and must upload the scanned copy of the original (not photocopy) UDID card issued by copetent authority.

Candidates must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject, or
Must have passed HSC Eamination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination in non-language subjet, or 
Must have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VIII or above from a school or educational institution recognised by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt. . or Mass Education Department, Govt.of Odisha.

Tentative date for Preliminary examination will be January/February-2023. The exact date, time and venue of Preiminary and Min examination will be conveyed in due course through Notice and/or Admission Letter.

The Date, Time and Venue of Preliminary examination and Main written examination will be conveyed to the candidates in the Admission Letter(s) in due course. The admission letters can be downloaded by the eligible candidates by accessing the Commission's website from time to time.

Candidates numbering two times of the vacancies advertised (category-wise and post wise) shall be shortlisted for certificate verification basing on the marks secured in the Main written examination.
