Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for recruitment of the following vacancies of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted posts at Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (GS), Pazhavanthangal
-Post, Chennai – 600 114 (Tamil Nadu).

Posts:

1. Lower Division Clerk
No. of posts: 03, Low Vision can apply.
Pay Scale: 19900/-Pay level-2
Qualification: a) 12th class or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board or University.
b) Skill test norms on Computer : English Typing @ 35 words per minute; or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (Time allowed – 10 minutes) (35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depression per hour/9000 key depressions per hour; on an average of 5 key depressions for each ward). Desirable: Basic knowledge in computers:

Note: Typing Master software will be used for Typing Test. Candidate who qualifies in Typing Test will only be permitted for Written Test.

Envelope containing application must be superscripted in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________ ” (mention the name of the post applied), failing which the application will be rejected and not to be
entertained.

One self-addressed envelope (size approximately 25 cm x 10 cm) for separate category affixing Rs. 40/- amount of postal stamp should be enclosed with the application form for sending call letter (admit card).

Recent passport size photographs should be pasted at places in the Application and Admit cards duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Attested copies of Educational Qualification/Professional Qualification, proof for date of birth (School
Leaving/Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth), Community certificate, Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-serviceman, experience certificate having date of issue and period of Experiences of candidate be attached with the application form. Candidates claiming reservation under SC or OBC are required to submit a copy of valid SC or OBC certificate issued by competent authority. Physically handicapped candidates should enclose copy of Medical Certificate issued by CMO/Civil Surgeon of Govt Hospital certifying the disability.

The selection will be made on the basis of written test only. Written test will be designed to assess the overall suitability of the candidates to the post.
