DVC invites ONLINE applications from young and promising Indian Citizens having good academic record to join the organization for the following posts with details under Table I & II for its various Power Plants, Sub-stations, Offices, Hospitals spread  across the State of West Bengal & Jharkhand.

Age Limit: 30 years
Educational qualifications: 2(Two) years’ full time M.Sc(Chemistry) with B.Sc(Hons) in Chemistry from a Recognised Institute/College /University with at least 60% marks (For General/OBC) in aggregate of all years/Semesters.  Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST Candidates. Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (at least 2 years full time) equivalent to Degree in HR Management/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations or MBA (at least 2 years full time with HR/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management as main subject) from AICTE approved Institutes/Universities with not less than 55% marks. 5% marks relaxable for SC & ST.
Explanation : Master Degree/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma includes Masters in Labour & Social Welfare (LSW), Masters in Social Welfare (MSW), Human Resource Management (HRM), Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) of two years full time duration.  In case of any dispute regarding the equivalency of the required Qualification Requirement (QR), the decision of DVC shall be final  & binding.

The candidates are requested to ensure before applying that   they fulfill strictly the eligibility criteria (viz. age, qualification and post-qualification experience) for the post as per advertisement. Appearing to written test will be purely provisional without verification of age/qualification/category (SC/ST/ OBC/ PWD) etc. of the candidates with references to documents.  Candidature will be  subject  to  verification  of details/documents of  the candidate when they report for the personal interview.

Only full time regular courses will be considered.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)  & 10  years for PH candidates. PH candidates belonging to reserved category will get age  relaxations on   both PH and the respective reserved category.

Application fee: No fee for SC/ST/PH & DVC candidates.

The selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.2 Lakhs to be submitted in the prescribed format at the time of joining in DVC for serving at least 3(Three) years after successful completion of one-year probation period. Candidate should arrange to have 4 (four) identical colored passport photographs (not older than 3 months from date of application)duly signed by self. Different styled photograph(s) may lead to rejection of the candidature.  The color photograph should be with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses. Photocopy of photograph is not permitted.

No fare will be paid to candidates called for written examination. However, if called for interview, candidates would be reimbursed to & fro actual rail fare by the shortest route from the nearest railway station from the place as shown in the correspondence address to the place of interview subject to production of ticket/ticket number as a proof of journey undertaken. The fare would be equivalent to a maximum of First Class rail fare for posts having Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and above  & Second Class for posts carrying Grade Pay below Rs 5400/-  in the common Express/Mail trains (excluding Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duranto Express etc.having exclusive fares).Journey made by road is not reimbursable.   

Candidates have to submit the following documents/certificates in original along with a self-attested photocopy of the same to DVC at the time of PI.

Printout of On-Line Application Form duly signed and with LTI.

Identity Card of present employer

Proof of Date of Birth(school final certificate)

Certificates and Marks sheets (Class-X/XII and the essential qualification as per table-II against the post the candidate is applying  (semester wise)/others)etc. with AICTE approval.

Caste certificate(In case of OBC( not older than six months) /SC/ST/PWD)

Experience certificate  Photo identity proof (as specified above) Challan for Application Fee (DVC’s copy)

Any other relevant documents as per check list

Selected candidates may be posted to any Project / Unit / Sub-station /Office of the Corporation.

Mode of Application: Candidates should apply through DVC’s Online Registration   System only. The Online Registration will be available on the website www.dvc.gov.in and will remain activated from 13:00 hrs of 13.04.2013 to 24:00 hrs of  06.05.2013 No other mode of application will be accepted.

The candidate has to send one copy of the ‘REGISTRATION SLIP’ duly completed as above with attested photo, signature and LTI along with the documents as per Check List, duly tick-marked appropriately so as to send the address given hereunder latest by 06.05.2013 by Ordinary Post only and in no case the same will be received through Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier.
