ERNET India, an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, has been set up with the main objectives of developing, setting up and operating a nationwide state-of-art computer development, training and standardization in the area of computer networking and information technology and to develop options for consideration of the Government for development of information infrastructure and computer networking in the country. The headquarter of the society is based in Delhi and regional offices at Bangalore & Chennai.

Educational Qualification: 
B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent in the related field with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University institution.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years

Definition of Persons with Disabilities

Under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995, only such persons would be eligible for reservation who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability and are certified by a Medical Board consituted by the Central/State Government.
