Microsoft Corp. is helping Fort Wayne-based GW Micro dramatically expand the installed base for its main product through an arrangement the companies expect will reduce barriers for millions of people who are blind or visually impaired.
GW Micro has been a leader for more than 2o years in the development of assistive technology. It is known around the world for its Window-Eyes computer screen reading software and applications that work with it, as well as its reading systems, voice synthesizers and magnifiers for people with low vision.
