ONGC is looking for promising , energetic , bright and experienced persons in the disciplines of Accounts , P&A & Steno - English. These posts are for Delhi and Dehra Dun . For the posts available at Delhi , the candidate should posses a valid registration certificate from any of the Employment Exchanges located in the state of Delhi. While for the posts available at Dehra Dun , the candidate should posses a valid registration certificate from any of the Employment Exchanges located in the state of Uttrakhand . However the job is transferable to any onshore/offshore location in the country or abroad.

Posts for Dehradun
- Assistant Grade - 3 (Accounts)
Pay Scale :- Rs 12,000 - Rs 27,000 with an increment of 3% per year.

Minimum Essentials Required :- Post Graduate Degree in Commerce or Graduate in Commerce with one Diploma in Finance and Accounts / ICWA (Inter) / CA (Inter).
Posts for Delhi
- Assistant Grade - 3 (P&A) Pay Scale :- Rs 12,000 - Rs 27,000 with an increment of 3% per year. Total No. of Posts :-10 Minimum Essentials Required :- Post Graduate Degree in Buisness Administration / Personnel Management / IR / Labour Welfare or Graduate Degree with 2 years Diploma in Personnel and Administration.
- Assistant Grade - 3 (Accounts)Pay Scale :- Rs 12,000 - Rs 27,000 with an increment of 3% per year.Total No. of Posts :- 7 Minimum Essentials Required :- Post Graduate Degree in Commerce or Graduate in Commerce with one Diploma in Finance and Accounts / ICWA (Inter) / CA (Inter).
- Junior Assistant (Steno- English) Pay Scale:- Rs 11,000 - Rs 24,000 with an increment of 3% per year .Total No. of Posts :-24 .Minimum Essentials Required :- Graduate with Typing speed 30 words per minute and Shorthand at 80 words per minute duration of 6 months in Computer Applications in the office environment .
Important Note :-
- Diploma courses should be recognized by AICTE and should be of minimum 3 years of duration.
- Trade Certificate should be from respective ITIs/ Technical Institutions recognized by State Board of Technical Education (ASBTE) /National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
- Graduate , Post Graduate Degree / Diploma should be from a University / Institute recognised by UGC / AICTE / AIU etc.
- In case of Ex-Servicemen, Valid Discharge Certificate & Qualification Equivalency Certificate as per Govt. of India’s instructions will be required at the time of interview.
- Applicants must ensure that they are eligible in all respects on the closing date of online application process (i.e. 27/06/14) failing which their candidature will be rejected .
PWD - General :- Maximum 40 years and Minimum 18 years (born between 28.06.1974 to 28.06.1996)
PWD - OBC - Non Creamy Layer :- Maximum 43 years and Minimum 18 years (born between 28.06.1971 to 28.06.1996)
PWD - SC/ST :- Maximum 45 years and Minimum 18 years (born between 28.06.1969 to 28.06.1996)
Note :- ONGC's departmental candidates shall be given age relaxation to the extent of their service rendered in ONGC.
Selection Process:-
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test (MCQ) comprising two sections - Domain related and General Awareness for a total duration of two hours .
- The section pertaining to domain related questions shall consist of 100 questions and the General Awareness section shall consist of 20 questions , all questions shall be of one mark each . the total marks allotted to the written test are 120 . There will be no negative marking.
- The general awareness paper shall be common to all commensurate with the level of the post . The details of the domain related paper are as follows- Assistant Grade 3 (Accounts):- Questions related to Finance and Accounts .Level : Post Graduation. Assistant Grade 3 (P&A):-Questions pertaining to Personnel Management. Level : Diploma Junior Assistant (Steno- English):-Questions on Aptitude Test (Comprising Reading Comprehension, Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning , Numeric Ability/Quantitative Aptitude , Data Interpretation,etc.)
- The language of the test shall be English.However, the candidates can also opt for Hindi as the language of the test paper.
- The written test is scheduled on 27.06.14.
- The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for interview as per the criteria decided by the Management .
- in order to qualify in the Interview PWD candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks.

The final merit list shall be prepared based on the weightages asiigned to various parameters as per the following :-
- Written Test - 60 marks
- Interview - 15 marks
- Qualification - 25 marks Total - 100 marks
- In order to be selected , candidates , in addition to fulfilling the requisite qualification criteria , are required to qualify at each stage .
- ONGC's departmental candidates shall be given first consideration in matters of selection viz-a-viz other candidates.
Written Test Centers
For the posts earmarked for Delhi the written tests will be held in Delhi only and for the posts earmarked for Dehra dun the wtittem test will be held in Dehradun and Haldwani .

Eligible applicants would be required to apply online only through the link available on ONGC's website : www.ongcindia.com . No other mode repeat no other mode of application shall be accepted.
- Candidates can apply for one post only .
- For the posts where no vacancies are earmarked for Reserve Category , the candidates can apply as General Candidates . However they may indicate their actual category in the online application so as to avail a fee concession as mentioned at point 8 below.

Before submitting their applications on the website the candidate should possess the following :

- Challan form Downloaded and duly filled with the fee deposited and acknowledged by the concerned bank.
- Scanned copies of recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate with white background and signature of the candidate.
- The candidate can access the online application form at www.ongcindia.com . The online registration site would be open from 1000 hours on 07.06.14 to 1800 hours on 27.06.14 .
- No changes shall be allowed once the candidate has saved and submitted his/her application.
- All information regarding examination schedule /admit card etc shall be available on the website .
- Online Application and Payment methodology will be available on the online application site.
- PWD are required to deposit the registration fee of rs 100 . This fee is non refundable . It can be deposited at any branch of State bank of India through challan . This fee is to be deposited in ONGC Power Jyoti A/C Number 30827318409 of SBI , Tel bhavan Dehradun.Payment is to be made as per the designated process only . Registration fee by any other mode would not be acceptable .
- ONGC Departmental Candidates Would also be Required to deposit applicable registration fee through the challan form .
