Post: 
1. Plumber
No. of posts: 02, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 14600-48500 (W-4) 
Age Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The candidate should possess SSC and ITI in Plumber trade.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 02 years experience in the line. 

2. Office Assistant 
No. of posts: 07, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-57500 (W-6) 
Age  Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The candidate should possess Degree in any discipline with 01 year certificate course in computer applications (in case of BCA / B.Sc. in Computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required).

Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum one year experience in the line

3. Yard Assistant
No. of posts: 10, out of which 02 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 15100-53000 (W-5)
Age Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The applicant should have graduation Degree in any discipline with 01 year certificate course in computer applications (in case of BCA / B.Sc. in Computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required).

Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum one year experience in the line. 

4. Technical Assistant (Stores -Mechanical) 
No. of posts: 08, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 16600-63500 (W-8)
Age Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Mechanical engineering from recognized Institute/ university.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the fields such as
Stores/Inventory/Logistics/Supply Chain Management.

Desirable: Candidates with additional qualification/certification in Materials / Logistics /purchase/Supply Chain Management will be preferred. 

5. Technical Assistant (Commercial -Mechanical)
No. of posts: 12, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 16600-63500 (W-8)
Age Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university/ Institute.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of Experience in the line. Exposure and knowledge of systems pertaining to commercial/purchase and procurement procedures.

Desirable: Candidates with additional qualification/certification in Commercial/ Materials / Logistics / purchase / Supply Chain Management will be given preferred. 

6. Technical Assistant (Commercial - Electrical)
No. of posts: 05, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Pay Scale: Rs. 16600-63500 (W-8)
Age Limit: 43 years
Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized university/ Institute.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of Experience in the line. Exposure and knowledge of systems pertaining to commercial/purchase and procurement procedures.

Desirable: Candidates with additional qualification/certification in Commercial/ Materials / Logistics / purchase / Supply Chain Management will be given preferred. 

. No fee is to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules.

Candidates are required to forward a print out of the online application along with relevant documents and the original Demand Draft by post to Goa Shipyard Limited. The candidates shall mandatorily write their Application / Job Registration number, Name, Mobile Number, Name of the post and Advertisement No. on the reverse side of Demand Draft. 

Outstation candidates who clear the written test and qualify for the Practical Test will be paid to and fro 2nd sleeper class rail fare by shortest route from their nearest railway station (as registered by them in the Online Application System) to Goa Shipyard Limited only on production of proof of journey (Hard copy of Tickets) as per rules of the Company.

The candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) can apply for posts wherever post is reserved for PwBD. Other posts where PwBD is not mentioned are not identified posts for PwBD.
