Applications from eligible candidates are invited for direct recruitment from Indian National for the undermentioned post at Static Workshop EME, Port Blair under HQ Andaman & Nicobar Command: 



Posts: 



1. Labourer 

No. of posts: 03 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: 1800/- 

Age: 18-25 years 

Qualification & Experience: Essential: Matriculation or equivalent OR Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-Servicemen in the appropriate trade & grade-III at minimum. 



2. Safaiwala 

No. of post: 01 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: 1800 

Age: 18-25 years 

Qualification & Experience: Matriculation or equivalent 



3. Cook 

No. of post: 01 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs. 18-25 years 

Qualification & Experience: Essential: (i) Matriulcation or equivalent (ii) Must have knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in trade. 



Suitability for persons with disability: OA, BL, VH(LV), HH 



Place of Work: Andaman & Nicobar Islands with all India/field service liabilities.

Exam, Interview & Trade Test: The exam, interview & trade test will be held at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Details will be intimated to eligible candidates by post. 



Duration of vacancies: Initially 2 years of probation and then permanent subject to satisfactory performance. 



The applications should be submitted only in prescribed format given in employment news. 

Only one trade/post to be applied in one application form. 



Photocopy of the following documents/certificates to be attached along wih application duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. 



(i) Matriculation certificate/municipality birth certificate in support for date of birth. 

(ii) Marks sheet of the educational qualification mentioned against the post applied 

(iii) SC certificate is applicable 

(iv) Physically handicapped certificate showing 40% and above of relevant disability issued by competent authority in Govt. prescribed proforma. 

(v) Discharge certificate in case of ex-serviceman 

(vi) NOC in original from their present employer in case of Government Servant. 



Note: Original certificate should not be sent with the application. These should be produced only at the time of examination/interview. 



The applicant should enclose one additional stamp size photo along with the application. 



The applicant should submit self-addressed envelope duly stamped of Rs. 5/- along with application, date of exam/intervie etc. will be intimated by post in the said envelope.

No TA/DA is admissible. Duration of the test can be 02 to 03 days or more. Candidates will make their own arrangement for lodging/Boarding during the test/interview.
