The University of Delhi (DU) released the tentative date sheet for December 2020 examinations on Thursday, 5th November 2020.
As per the previous notification of DU, the exams for this semester as well as previous semester improvement students will happen in an offline-online blended mode.
As per the released datesheet, the examinations will commence on 12th December 2020 and will go on till 24th December 2020. For Honours courses, the examinations will happen in the morning session starting at 9:30 a.m. The examinations under B.A Programme (BAP) and General Elective (GE) will happen in the afternoon session and will start at 2:30 p.m.
Owing to Open Book Examinations (OBE) due to Covid-19 pandemic, DU highlighted some important rules at the end of the datesheet. It stated that the duration for writing the paper will be 3 hours. However, owing to OBE format this semester, an extra one hour will be given to students. This will be done to allow students to download question papers, scan the answer sheets and upload them on the portal.
The datesheet also stated that students belonging to PWd (persons with disabilities) category would be given 6 hours to complete papers.
